Michael McLaren MSc. MBA

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director

Mike has been in the Energy industry for more than 30 years. His past experience includes a number of Military and Energy projects. Mr. McLaren has been the developer and Patent holder of the Olenox since it’s inception. Mr. McLaren has a Master’s Degree in Science and a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of British Columbia. Mr. McLaren wrote, together with Dr. Olev Trass, several publications on Selective Oil Agglomeration for Ecological Benefits, Coal Water Oil Fuel (CWF), and the preparation of various fuels for clean coal energy. He currently serves as CEO & Founding Shareholder of Olenox Ltd. He also has extensive experience in operating E&P companies, Field service and negotiating M&A opportunities.

Douglas Nestor BSc. MSc. MBA

President and Director

Doug is a distinguished industry entrepreneur with over 35 years of global upstream operational experience.   Noted for his creative problem-solving, Mr. Nester has led organizations  within countries having some of the most complex political, cultural, security and logistical challenges. During his career, Mr. Nester has founded and managed traditional E&P, energy transition and AI-based production software companies.  He holds a BS degree in Geology from Indiana University of Pa., performed his Masters’ studies in geology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and received his MBA in finance at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

James Estrada Salisbury BA, MS

VP Finance and Project Development

Senior financial executive with over 35 years of banking and corporate financial experience; most recent 10 years as a restructure/work-out officer for Bank of the West/BMO. Previous banking experience including senior corporate and international positions with peak credit portfolio of ~$750 million. James served 7 years as the Corporate Treasurer of a Fortune 500 food company. Private consulting including serving as a project development officer for a manufacturer of environmental waste clean-up equipment active in the oil and gas sector; and arranging private equity and bank financing lines for new business activities and financial restructuring for growing companies.

Daniel Ritz, Jr. “Bo”  BSc. MSc. PE

Independent Director

Bo received a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Bo holds his PE in Texas and has actively advised oil and gas companies on reservoir evaluation, asset selection and development strategies. Bo served earlier in his career as a production and completions engineer with Texas Oil and Gas, Inc. He has acted in an investment banking capacity and reservoir engineer for numerous companies on both the buy and sell side. With Reveille Capital, LLC, Bo maintains a consulting practice in engineering and business. He has completed transactions as a principal, advisor, broker and valuation expert with thirty years’ experience.

Bo is currently on contract and assists management and advises several operating partners managing holdings in private equity portfolios and companies. Bo has been active in promoting business and entrepreneurship at Texas A&M.
